Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Lord Dalhousie' arriving 14 Aug 1852. Aged 22yrs; single man; Roman Catholic; can read & write a little; a labourer; 5'9"; ruddy complexion, freckled; red hair; dark eyes. Native place: Co. Limerick. Father: Patrick Sister: Mary (ref: Convict records, VDL) VDL: Pass Holder status upon arrival. Assigned to James Fulton, Coal Mines. 6 Dec 1853: Ticket of Leave granted. 1853: De Graves, Cascades, Hobart. 31 Oct 1854: Conditional Pardon approved.
