Family connections for John (Wade) may be: WADE John/Joseph (Ward/Wade) was tried at Warwick Assizes, sentenced to 7years & possibly arrived in NSW as a convict named John (Wade) on 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship ADMIRAL BARRINGTON. She was Free by Servitude by 1797. He was to recieve a grant of land in 1818. He was recorded as a merchant in 1819. He seems to have served as a soldier with 40th Regiment at Waterloo in 1816. He arrived in NSW as a settler with his family in 1812 on MARY; a Lieutenant (Lowe) is recorded in Ref:'Garrison...' as guard detachment arriving in NSW on 21 10 1823 after a voyage of 5months on ALBION.
