At Woodbridge Quarter Sessions, on Wednesday last, the Rev. John Edgar in the Chair, ... ; and Samuel Wakeling, for stealing a quantity of wheat, from the barn of Robert Sheppard, of Tunstall, were sentenced to be transported for 7 years. William Howard, an accomplice with Wakeling, to be imprisoned 2 years. Bury and Norwich Post, 23 July 1823. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Last week the following convicts were removed from the gaol, to the Hulks at Portsmouth, (viz.) Thomas Peters, Samuel Wakelin, Charles Mee, George Mee, and Richard Girling, and put on board the Leviathian-(7 years each.)
