James Walker alias Godsiff, age 23, Groom, Appropriated by John Cassidy, Old Beach. -------------------------------------------------- Godsiff, James, alias Walker, charged with feloniously stealing one letter, and five sovereigns, the property of John Williams, at Ashford. Also further charged with having received 15. 5 d., for the account of the Duke Manchester, and felooiously embezzling the said money - transported 7 years. Maidstone Journal, 10 Aug 1830. ---------------------------------------------------- The undermentioned convicts were Wednesday week removed from the County Gaol, Maidstone, and put on the Retribution hulk, at Sheerness, viz. — ...
