Per "Guildford", 1818. 1818 Apr 10 On list of convicts disembarked from the "Guildford" and forwarded to Bringelly for distribution; listed as Wallis (Reel 6006; 4/3498 p.138) 1819 Aug 6 On list of prisoners to be sent to Newcastle per "Elizabeth Henrietta" (Reel 6006; 4/3500 p.202) 1823 Apr 30 Stockman to Jonathan Hassall. Affidavit re loss of certificate of freedom (Reel 6028; 4/1690 p.32) --------------------------------------------------- 1819 Aug 6 - On list of prisoners to be sent to Newcastle per "Elizabeth Henrietta" John Wallace, per Guildford (3rd), convict, Tried by Thos Moore, Esq. 20 July 1819, Labourer, One year sentence. -------------------------------------------------- New South Wales, Cumberland, to wit, John Wallace who arrived in this Colony in the ship Guildford (3) being duly sworn saith that about the month of March 1822, I received a Certificate of my sentence having expired at the Office of the Col. Secy., which certificate was burned on the 18th day of March last by my hut in the Blue Mountains taking fire when I was stock keeper to Mr Jonathan Hassall. I further swear that I have not sold or made away with the said certificate in any improper manner whatever. John Wallace, His mark X. Sworn before me, a Justice of the Peace for the said Territory, dated 30 April 1823. --------------------------------------------------- Convict Index.
