The Convict Indentures state that Bartholomew Walters was 24 years old. He could read and write; Religion Roman Catholic and his status was single. A native of London and occupation a Clerk. He was convicted of house stealing at the Central Criminal Court (The Old Bailey) on 4 January 1836. He was convicted and sentenced to seven years. He had no one prior conviction. Physical attribute Height: 5 feet 5 1/2 inches; Complexion fair and ruddy; hair dark brown and eyes Hazel. Prisoner number 36-2089 and transport number 58.
