1825 Muster: Working as a Government servant at Waterloo Bay. 1828 Muster: In gaol. 1833: TOL 1836: TOL, Lane Cove. 1839: TOL, Lane Cove. 3/2/1840: Sydney Monitor: POLICE COURT.SATURDAY, FEBUARY 4. Before Captain Innes and Mr. Brennan. WILLIAM DRUID. free, was placed at the Bar, charged by Daniel Walton with stabbing him with a bayonet in the thigh on the 24th January. Daniel Walton, a Ticket of Leave man deposed, that he was going down the road on the 24th January, near Lane Cove, when the prisoner ran after him and stabbed him with, a bayonet on the end of a pole. Witness struck the bayonet on one side with his hand, but it wounded him in the thigh. He had done nothing to aggravate the prisoner. In short ‘ he had been charged, a short time before, by the Parramatta Bench, with too much intimacy with the prisoners wife. Walton was in the habit of calling at Druid's house to see his wife and that an improper intimacy seemed to exist between them. The case was dismissed, and the prosecuted, Walton was ordered to be deprived of his ticket-of-leave, and sent to Hyde Barracks, the Magistrate remarking, that he would take good care never to, let Walton obtain a ticket-of leave again.' 1842: TOL, Port Macquarie. 30/8/1842: Married Catherine and had 5 children.
