Elizabeth Walton was convicted at Leeds on 14 Jan 1828 for Larceny. 7 yr Transportation sentence. Previous offences (pick pocketing)and vagrancy. Transported to Van Diemen's Lane (Tasmania) on the ship "Borneo" 1828. Single woman, had resided at Leeds for several years. Aged 21yrs. 5'2", reddish hair, Assigned out for servant work. Several misdemeanour's which resulted in time spent at the Female Factory. Married Isaac Simpson (to whom she seems to have been assigned out to) 22 June 1829 at Hobart Town.
