The same was found in his possession and identified. The prisoner has been four times convicted of felony ; has several times absconded from an iron-gang; what is to be done with such a man ? It will be an act of mercy to secure him. Sentence, 3 years transportation on to some penal settlement.

Was a catholic. 3 months iron gang in 1831. New South Wales, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1814, 1827-1867 (NRS 12210) Butts of Certificates of Freedom 1843 July 26. No 42/1185, Originally tried at Cork and also tried at Sydney Supreme Court and sentenced to 7 years transportation 0n 1 May 1835.
