Wednesday, man named James Ward was committed for trial the next Quarter Sessions charged with stealing four sheep, the property of Peter Mahony, a butcher in this city, from a ... near the Penitentiary, where the animals were left grazing. Waterford Chronicle, 8 Jan 1842. City Quarter Sessions. James Ward was found guilty of stealing four sheep, the property of Peter Mahony, on the 28th ult. Waterford Chronicle, 15 Jan 1842.
