Convict Notes
Mary Ward, Mary Bagley, and Robert Hudson, together with one William Fowler, not taken, were indicted for robbing William Abbey, on the on the King's highway, in the City of York, on Tuesday se'nnight, putting him in bodily fear, and taking from his person a Darlington bank note, of the value of one guinea. The Jury retired some minutes, and returned a verdict — Mary Ward, Guilty, Death — Hudson and Bagley, Not Guilty. Star (London) 15 Mar 1808.
