Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania), Australia per the ship 'Platina' arriving there 22 Oct 1837. Married woman, 3 children; cook; aged 33yrs; 4'11 1/2" height; swarthy complexion; brown hair; grey eyes. Native place of birth: Devon, England. Husband - Colony of VDL: Work services. Clear Conduct record. 13 July 1841: Ticket of Leave granted. 28 July 1842: Conditional Pardon, no. 702, approved. (There is a marriage permission and marriage, in 1842, to a Robert Purton but the name is "Weare". Although free status, it could mean free by servitude.)
