Convict Notes
Nottingham Assizes. Robert Thorpe, aged 22, Robert Smart, aged 17, Fras. Warner, aged 14, Mary Storer, aged 26, and James Tucker, aged 16, for stopping Thomas James on the highway in Nottingham, and robbing him of a pocketbook containing upwards of 90£. in bank bills—Smart acquitted, all the others condemned. Stamford Mercury, 23 March 1821.
