George Warner was convicted at Surrey in March 1830 for stealing bushells of wheat. 14 yr transportation sentence. Per 'David Lyon' ship to Van Diemens Land (Tasmania) arriving Aug 1830. Wife Sarah and children on the Parish at Native Place. Ticket of Leave Sept 1836 Conditional Pardon 23/10/1840 (no. 2711) Free Certificate 1845 (no. 878) 06/07/1869 Hobart Supreme Court: Manslaughter charge. 14 days imprisonment.
