Convict Notes
Excerpt: George Warnock aged 56 was entered in the journal on 1st June. The surgeon described him as a poor creature who suffered a good deal in many respects during the voyage, being a cripple and obliged to sit all the time in consequence of his lower extremities being withered and deformed. He suffered from constipation, rheumatism and scurvy and the surgeon brought him into the hospital as it was not always quite as wet as the prison berth.
