Fifth Middlesex Jury, before Mr. Sergeant Arabin. 2087. DAVID WATERS was indicted for stealing, on the 16th of August , 1 pair of shoes, value 4s. , the goods of Thomas Brown . THOMAS BROWN . I am a shoemaker . On the 16th of August the prisoner came, took these boots, and walked out of my shop with them; he got about twenty yards - I took him with them; I did not know him before. Prisoner's Defence. I was coming through Somers'-town with a young man; we were both drunk, and I did not know where I was. GUILTY .
