Irish Archives. Ireland-Australia Database. Doc Ref: TR 3, P255. And CRF 1839 D 25. Mary Dolan, age 23, Trial place, Co. Leitrim; Trial date, 27/6/1839. Larceny. Transportation for 7 years. Ship Minerva, 18 August 1839, Convict was transported to Sydney under another convicts name, Ann Materson, with whom it would appear she had swopped identities. Ann Materson was later transported on the 'Isabella', 5th March 1840. Note. No Ann Materson on this ship. Is this a mis-spelling of Waterson?
