Anne Watkins and Lewis, for stealing bread and other articles the value of ?s., the property of Clement Hanbury, Llanviliangel. Monmouthshire Beacon, 14 March 1840 Ann Watkins, 18, and Elizabeth Lewis, 17, for stealing loaf of bread, bacon, and soap, the property Clement Hanbury, of Liamihancd Torymynydo. Ann Watkins, ten years transportation; Elizabeth Lewis, fifteen years transportation. Silurian, 4 April 1840. The following prisoners were this week removed from our county jail to the Millbank Penitentiary. Elizabeth Lewis, under sentence of transportation for fifteen years —Anne Watkins, ten years — Monmouthshire Beacon, 18 April 1840
