Periods in hospital Launceston in 1847 & 1848. 1844: Aged 50yrs; 5'5"; labourer; ruddy complexion; dk brown hair; blue eyes. Native Place: Co Wicklow, Ireland. Protestant. can read.

THIS IS THE SAME JOHN WATSON WHO WAS FIRST TRANSPORTED TO NSW in 1832 on the 'Captain Cook'. He completed his sentence and returned to England in 1842. This is a second transportation sentence for him. 26/02/1844 Wicklow, stealing clothes. 7yrs. Transported to Van Diemens Land on the 'Cadet' 1844. Convict no. 73984. Died at Impression Bay 09/07/1848.
