Huntingdon, Bedford & Peterborough Gazette Huntingdonshire, England 15 Jan 1831: THOS. COOK, aged 30, and WILLIAM WATTS, aged 37, charged with stealing, on the 7th of Nov. 7 pieces of pickled pork, value 30s. the property of Rich. Labrum, of Battlesden.__7 years' transportation. No ship found for Thomas Cook. William Watts was listed as 36 years old on arrival. Previous convictions: Once for Stealing ### 3 Mos. again 2 Mos. for Vagrancy again Vagrancy 6 Weeks - again One Month Vagrancy. William was 5'6¾" tall, sallow complexion, dark brown hair and whiskers, light hazel eyes, very small ears, natural mark under left eye. Married with 5 children, wife, Ann at Chorleigh, Bedford. 1832-33 Musters: Assigned to Mr. James Hobbs. 1835 Muster: Assigned to Mr. H. Collins. Conduct Record: Empty.
