Convict Notes
Thomas Ball and Mary Weaver, for stealing a silver watch from the dwelling-house of Mr. Edmund Bacon publican, of Cheadle. Staffordshire Advertiser, 23 October 1824. On Monday last, Mary Weaver, Martha Polls, and Ann Cross, under sentence of transportation for 7 years, were removed from our county gaol to the ship Midas, at Woolwich, bound to New South Wales. Staffordshire Advertiser, 2 July 1825.
