Convict Notes
Daniel Webb, convicted of stealing three ewe sheep, from Mr. T. Hooper, in the parish of Ledbury; Hereford Journal, 31 March 1830. ---------------------------------------------------- On Thursday and Friday last the following convicts, against whom sentence of death was recorded at our last Assizes and commuted to transportation for life, were removed from our county gaol to their destination at Chatham:—William Cooke; Joseph Hughes; Thomas Jones; John Morgan; Wm. Price; Miles Pearce ; William Preece; John Roberts alias Fletcher; William Thomas; Daniel Webb; and Thomas Evans, sentenced to 14 years at the Assizes, and John Lloyd, to 7 years transportation at the last October Sessions Hereford Journal, 26 May 1830.
