Sick List of the Susan 1837: Folio 12: case no 6, Robert Webb, aged 19, convict; taken ill at sea; disease or wound, gastritis, acute pain and extreme tenderness of the epigastrium, inability to retain anything in the stomach great debility and thirst, after he was bled the pulse became reduced in frequency increased in volume fomentations were applied to the abdomen and three pills consisting of calomel gr. v, ext. colocyath comp. gr. xv were given; put on sick list 16 August 1837, died 16 August 1837 at 9 pm.
