Joseph Sewell, poultry once for fowls- 3 mos. ? Any work 13 days flogged, once for a lynch pin, 14 days. Serjeant’s report: Indifferent. Trade, F labourer. Native place, Foxley. Hubert Websdale was indicted for stealing two ducks the 2lst May last, the property of Joseph Sewell, Esq. of Poringland.—Guilty; 7 years’ transportation. There was a former conviction proved against prisoner.  Norwich Mercury, 3 July 1841.
