Mary probably married Simon (or Sion) Freebody. Simon was himself, a Second Fleet convict, transported on "Surprize". They married sometime after 1794. Simon and Mary had at least 5 children. Ann, 1796, married James Oldfield (convict “Earl Cornwallis”. Sarah, 1798, married John Hoskisson (son of 2 convicts Thomas Hoskisson “Scarborough” and Sarah Pigg “Mary Ann”. Simon, 1799, married Susannah Miles (daughter of 2 convicts Edward Miles “Scarborough"and Susannah Smith “Glatton”). Mary Ann, 1800 married Daniel Search (convict “Atlas”). John, 1803. Several of these children had very large families. Mary Ann for example died in 1898, aged 98/99 and had raised 14 children. Her obituary states her descendants are legion, with an almost unlimited number of great and great great grandchildren.

Had 7 children with Sion Freebody: I. Ann Nancy (22/12/1796 - 11/1/1882), also known as Ann (Nancy) Wells Freebody II. Sarah (1798 - 1881) III. Simon junior (1799 - 1887) IV. Mary Ann (1800 - 1899)V. John (1802 - 1890) VI. Margaret (?? - 1806) VII. Ham (1823 - 1890). It is thought Ham was the illegitimate son of Mary Ann, who was adopted by her parents. In 1794 Sion and Mary were granted land on the Hawkesbury River.
