Robert Wells arrived per ā€œThe Atlanticā€ which was in the company of Mary Anne, Matilda, Salamander. William & Ann, HMS Gorgon, Active, Abermarle, Brittania, Queen, and Admiral Barrington. Old Bailey Middlesex 28th October 1789. Robert Wells, William How, John Giles and Joseph Inkins were indicted for stealing, on the 3rd day of October, four pieces of flannel, commonly called long ells, value Ā£6., the property of William Dawson, William Atkinson and George Brown. 20/1/1793: Married Sussanah Nairn/Riley (Kitty 1792) they had 1 daughter, Esther born 8/6/1796. Sussanah died 25/3/1814. 6/6/1814: Married Sarah Longhurst (Wanstead 1814) and had 4 children. Sarah died 24/9/1829. Then had a relationship with Sarah Lawson (Northampton 1815). Return of Proceedings at the Court House Parramatta 16.1.1826: Robert Wells free servant to John Piesely was bought forward on a charge of stealing sugar from the premises of his Master - Robert was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment. Robert was employed as a barber at Parramatta and then as a labourer. 22/9/1845: Robert died and was buried at St John’s, Parramatta. I also found birth dates of 1751 and ages at death of 83 and 94.
