CONVICT DEPARTMENT. April 30, 1849. It is hereby notified to the undermentioned individuals, that it is the intention of the Lieutenant Governor to recommend them to the gracious consideration of her Majesty the .Queen for Conditional Pardons : Amos West, Marquis of Hastings. Launceston Examiner, 5 May 1849. ---------------------------------------------------- Conditional Pardon Granted. Amos West, Marquis of Hastings 1; Launceston Examiner, 3 Aug 1850. -------------------------------------------------- POLICE COURT. MONDAY, JUNE 6. (Before C. J. Weedon, Esq.) Amos West was fined for drunkenness. Launceston Examiner, 7 Jun 1859. -------------------------------------------------- Death. WEST --On July 18th, at Reedy Marsh, Amos West, aged 71 years. Launceston Examiner, 21 July 1882.
