Francis West, per Bangalore, F.S., tried at Oatlands, on 11 Sept 1871, for non-maintenance, received 1 month, native place is Portsmouth, age 49 yrs, 5 feet 5 1/2 inches high, dark brown hair, right forefinger crippled. Tasmania Police Gazette, 22nd Sept 1871, p153.
