Leicester Assizes.— … and Thos. West, Jos. Beale, Robt. Parkinson, and Richard Kirby, for breaking into the house of Robt. Freer, in Leicester, and stealing a large quantity of tea; were also sentenced to death. —were severally sentenced to death. Stamford Mercury, 24 Aug 1821. ————————————————————————— Eleven male Convicts were removed from the Borough Gaol Wednesday morning last, to be put on board His Majesty’s hulk Belleraphon now at Sheerness -—John Pounder, Richard Kerry. Thomas West, Robert Parkinson, and Joseph Beal, to be transported for life. Leicester Chronicle, 29 Sept 1821.
