Thomas Westley, for stealing a fat shearhog sheep, the property of James Whitworth, Wellingborough; Northampton Mercury, 28 Feb 1818. … Thomas Westley, for sheep stealing; and Joseph Relton, for housebreaking the day time; were capitally convicted and received sentence of death, but were all reprieved before the Judge left town.
