No; 1503 Name; William Weston Abode; Hobart Town from Goal Date; 1835, 13 January Age; 40 years ** Age as per Register ** Ships Name; Guildford Quality or Profession; Executed for Burgulary The True Colonist Van Diemen's Land Political Despatch, and Agricultural and Commercial. Fri 30 Jan 1835. Page 3 Wednesday, January, 28th. John Burke,; Thomas Kirkham, and John Ashton, breaking into the house of Mr. Hamilton, of Ross, on the night of the 24th at November last, and stealing therein a large quantity of wearing apparel and other articles ; and Charles Norsworthy and William Weston charged, as acomplices before the fact by counciling, aiding, and abetting the prisoners Burke, Kirkman, and Ashton to commit the robbery. The Jury found Burke, Kirkman, and Ashton guilty of the first charge ; Nosworth and Weston of the second.--Sentence of death on all the prisoners.
