Warwick and Warwickshire Advertiser Warwickshire, England 15 Jul 1826: Mary Westwood for stealing, at Birmingham, 2 table cloths, the property of Wm. Franklin. Mary Westwood was listed as 17 years old on arrival. Native Place: Staffordshire. Occupation: Laundry maid. Mary was illiterate, protestant, single, 5'5" tall, dark ruddy complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, blind of right eye, scars on center of forehead, blue marks and rings on both forefingers. Assigned to S. M. Ward, Sydney. 19/10/1830: Permission to marry Joel Dixon (General Stewart 1818). Mary Westwood, aged 20, (Grenada) on bond - Joel listed as 30, with a TOL - permission granted. 4/1/1831: Married at the Church of England, Sutton Forest, NSW. Source: Bap.Marr.Bur.
