Nottingham Assizes.  All the prisoners sentenced to death were reprieved before the Judge left the town. … Samuel Wheatley, aged 40, and John Johnson, aged 28, for stealing a sheep, the property of Richd. Morley, of Nottingham—Condemned. The said Samuel Wheatley and John Johnson, on charge of stealing 3 fowls, 2 bags, and  strikes of wheat, from George Harpham.—Guilty, see above.  ... Stamford Mercury, 23 March 1821.
