1868, 19 October: Patrick WHELAN per Isabella 1822, crime not stated, 7 years, is on a list of so-called "British Lunatics" in the "Parramatta Lunatic Asylum" (see New South Wales, Australia, Convict Records, 1810-1891).
NATIVE PLACE: Clonmel. DIED: 6 October 1880. The above is contained in a report of convict deaths in New South Wales, dated 19 January 1881, and signed by the Inspector General of Police (see New South Wales, Australia, Convict Records, 1810-1891; Convicts Deaths, Annual Returns of Convicts Who Died, 1867-1891). Note: There is no information about location of death, cause of death or where he was buried.
