The indictment contained four counts, the first and second charged the prisoner with forging the order, with an intent to defraud Robert Campbell, Esq. of Sydney, and Mr. Edward Ure, of Parramatta; and the third and fourth, with uttering the same with intent to defraud the above-named persons. The Jury returned a verdict of Guilty on the first count.—Remanded. Sydney Gazette, 26 May 1825. Moreton Bay Convict Records. Thomas Treslove, per Grenada 1, tried Lincoln Q. Sess. 14 Jan 1817, 7 years, Teacher. Colonial conviction, Crim Court, Sydney, 21 May 1825, Forgery. Death recorded Life, commuted to Seven years 21st March 1836.
