Agnes White or Paton was convicted at Edinburgh on 17/06/1850 for theft. 7yr sentence. Previous convictions. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Aurora', arriving 10 Aug 1851. Ship Surgeon's Report: Good Single girl; aged 16yrs; Native Place of Birth - Edinburgh; Presbyterian; read & write; nurse girl; 4'7 1/2"; fresh complexion; brown hair; blue eyes. Assignments in New Town and Hobart. Permission to marry: Samuel Broadbee (convict per Lady Kennaway 2) granted. Rgd 291/1853-37. Ticket of Leave 01/11/1853 Conditional Pardon 05/06/1857 Certificate of Freedom 03/10/1857
