Ann's partner in crime, Sarah Woolley, is an ancestor of singer, Natalie Imbruglia.
By coincidence on the 14th March 1814, Ann married Richard Sydes on the same day as when her ex-partner, Kennedy Murray married Ann Parker in Sydney.
On arrival in the colony, Ann was transferred to Norfolk Island. Here she had a liaison with John Scott who had been a seaman on 'Neptune' but then transferred to 'Supply'. The daughter, Elizabeth Ann, died after only a couple of months. John left Norfolk at about the same time, aboard the 'Asia' bound for China. Ann then had a relationship with Kennedy Murray (Convict, Pitt, 1792), the couple did not marry but they did have 2 children, Kennedy White Murray (1799) and Elizabeth Murray (1802). Ann then was in a relationship with Richard Sides (Convict, Ganges, 1797), from about 1804. In 1813, Ann and Richard moved to Tasmania with their small family of 3 children and subsequently they married in 1814 at Launceston.
Old Bailey Proceedings: October 1789, trial of SARAH WOOLLEY and ANN WHITE (t17891028-56). SARAH WOOLLEY, ANN WHITE, Theft > shoplifting, 28th October 1789. SARAH WOOLLEY and ANN WHITE were indicted for feloniously stealing, on the 9th of October , four yards of printed cotton, value 8 s. the property of Joseph King and Robert Cottle , privily in their shop. BOTH GUILTY of stealing to the value of four shillings and six-pence. Transported for seven years. Tried by the London Jury before Mr. RECORDER
