One woman and 7 children died on the voyage. At least 2 children were born during the voyage. The Surgeon Superintendent was Dr Wylie, R.N. and the Matron, Mrs Evans. The Arabian arrived at Hobart Town, February 25 1847.

Jane Loague, Mary Anne McGinty, Eliza White, and Nancy Mulholland, were indicted for assaulting one Isabella Lafferty, on the 12th July last, at Edenballymore. Guilty; to be transported for seven years.
