391 ton Barque. Built Liverpool. The Barque Arabian, under the command of Captain Robertson, left Kingstown, Dublin, 22 November, 1846, with 150 female convicts and 37 children on board. One woman and 7 children died on the voyage. At least 2 children were born during the voyage. The Surgeon Superintendent was Dr Wylie, R.N. and the Matron, Mrs Evans. The Arabian arrived at Hobart Town, February 25 1847.

Ellen White, an old offender, robbery of a quilt from Bridget Sullivan.—To be transported for 7 years. Limerick Chronicle, 8 July 1846.
The following convicts, under sentence of transportation, were forwarded this morning from the county gaol to Dublin, for transportation to Van Diemen's Land: Judith Meany, larceny, 7 years ; Anne Tuohy and Anne Mahony, arson, 15 years each. City convicts, under rule of 7 years each Mary Kenny, Mary Long, and Ellen White. Winifred M'Namara, from Ennis gaol for larceny, 7 years, was transmitted with the above, and all under escort of a Police force from this city. Limerick Chronicle, 26 Sep 1846.
