The Arabian arrived at Hobart Town, February 25 1847.

Julia White was convicted at Dublin on 31/08/1846 for stealing a hat. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Arabian', arriving 1847. Gaol Report: 4 previous convictions. Ship Surgeon's Report: Good 1 child on board accompanied her. Father recorded as Michael Phillips. Native Place - Dublin Roman Catholic; unmarried; reads; aged 24yrs; 5'2 1/2"; brown hair; fresh complexion; Hazel eyes; housemaid. Assignments in Colony. Clear conduct record. Ticket of Leave 26/02/1850 Application for Permission to Marry - approved. Married Thomas Clancy (Clancey) (convict per Runnymede) 22/05/1850 Hobart (ref. 228/1850-37).
