Twenty seven prisoners deemed to fall into "second class" were disembarked in Hobart and granted tickets of leave on landing and the remainder were disembarked at Geelong with conditional pardons. Sailed from Woolwich on 6 October 1851 under surgeon W. McCrae with 196 female convicts, landing on 26 January 1852.

Margaret Wells at Brighton, per Anna Maria, F.S., for larceny, sentence-2 months, a housewife, native place Ireland, 33 yrs old, 5 feet 5 inches high, resides at Hobart Town, resides at Brighton. Tasmania Police Gazette, 9th Feb 1872, p23. Prisoner discharged from H M Gaols, Hobart, week ending 30 Mar 1872 & 3 Apr 1872. Margaret Wells, per Anna Maria, F.S., tried at Brighton, on 1 Feb 1872, for larceny, received 2 months, native place is Ireland, age 33 yrs, 5 feet 5 inches high, brown hair.
