Digitised Indent for ship Matilda. Nathan White, tried at Northampton, 1 July 1788, seven years. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Nathan White, charged upon Oath with unlawfully hunting and attempting to kill two Fallow Deer, Rockingham Forest and having been before convicted of Deer-stealing, the above Offence is deemed to be Felony. Northampton Mercury, 28 June 1788 Wm Cedell alias Cadell, (committed by the Rev Dr. Freeman on Wednesday ult for stealing a Silver Half-Pint the Property of John Clarke, of Towcester; and Nathan White, for feloniously coursing Deer in Rockingham Forest, after a former Conviction of a like Offence against the Statute; were severally sentenced to be transported for seven years.
