RURAL - BELFAST, A well-to-do farmer near Belfast, named Patrick White, aged 74, died to-day. He has been fifty six years in the colony, forty-five of which have been spent in the Western district. He was the first white man upon Major Leanmonth's “Ettrick” station. The Herald, Melbourne, 24 Jan 1883.

Patrick Francis White was 17 years old on arrival. He was single, RC. Assigned to Mr Styles of Argyle. 1834: COF Patrick then moved to Victoria. 1841: Married Eleanor Wynne at St Francis' in Melbourne 1841. They had 12 children. Patrick farmed at Codrington in the Western District of Victoria. 17/1/1883: Patrick died and was buried in Yambuk Cemetery.
