Gaol Report: well conducted. Ship Surgeon's Report: very good, hospital attendant. Native Place: nr Weedon, Northhampdonshire. 35yrs of age; Protestant; read & write; clerk; 5'10 1/2"; fresh complexion; stout build; scar on chin; black to grey hair; Hazel eyes; single. Van Diemens Land: Station Gang: Broadmarsh, 12mths. Assigned to Mrs. Mary Archer, 'Woolmers', Longford. Clear conduct record. Ticket of Leave 28/03/1848 Free Certificate 05/06/1857. Note: 'Woolmers', Longford is still a large estate and classified by the National Trust (some parts open to the public).

R. Clarke White was convicted at Dublin City 04/10/1843 of stealing material - velvet & cambric. Stated "I pleased Guilty to charges". 7 yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemens Land on the 'Cadet' 1844.
