Daniel Moran and Richard White, both young in years, but, according to the Gaoler’s return, old in crime, were ordered transported for seven years, for having on last Monday stolen from the door post of Thomas M‘Cann, a shop-keeper of Blackpool, a shawl, valued one shilling. The urchins thanked the Recorder for the punishment awarded them and retired from the Bar. Southern Reporter, 1 Feb 1834.
