Robert White was transported on the Waterloo, departing 11th Mar 1833 and arriving 3rd Aug 1833 with 216 passengers.
1829 - Waterloo's first voyage arrived at Sydney Cove 9 July 1829. 180 Male Convicts. 2 Died on voyage. 7 sent to the hospital on landing. Total mustered; 171. Stephen Addison - Commander Michael Goodsire - Surgeon Superintendent [His wife was a passenger] 1842 - The Waterloo voyage of 1842 was wrecked on 28/8/1842. 189 people drowned, these being 143 convicts, 15 men of the 99th Regiment, together with 17 wives and children, the boatswain Mr. Chiverton, the sailmaker, the carpenter and 11 of the crew. Convicts were then received in Cape Town Prison from the wreck of the Waterloo, 2nd September 1842. They then completed their voyage to VDL per “Cape Packet” which arrived on 23/11/1842.

Convict Notes
Robert White age 29 years (1828) was convicted at the Old Bailey on 11/9/1828 for 'Putting' or counterfeiting. Robert was a Butcher and was from Hastings, Sussex. He was sentenced to 7 years transportation, but was held on the Ganymede (not the Dolphin as per his conviction papers). Robert was delivered to the 'Waterloo' convict ship which left the UK in 1833. He is the Robert White who died from Cholera. There were two Robert White's on this ship. The other Robert was a seaman originally from the Isle of Wight.
