Yorkshire Assizes. Charles Wadsworth, Geo Whitley, Stephen Ansell, John Whitley, and Geo. Carter, charged with stealing a quantity of butter, bacon, &c. from the warehouse of William Kitchen of Leeds; and that the said George Carter did afterwards receive and buy the said goods, well knowing them to stolen. Guilty.— G Whitley and S. Ansell to be transported seven years, and J Whitley and Carter, fourteen years. - Wadsworth admitted evidence.   Stamford Mercury, 9 Aug 1816.
