William Whicker, convict per ship Coromandel and Helen Holigan, convict per ship Canada, - Approved. ------------------------------------------------ The humble petition of William Vickers, That your Excellency’s Petitioner having arrived in this Colony in the year one thousand eight hundred and one in the ship Coromandel, the first time, Captain Robinson, Master, under a sentence of Transportation for Life, being now a period of Nineteen years and upwards, Further saith that he has been during that length of period in the employment of Government in the capacity of a sawyer. Petitioner further states that he has been employed under the charge of J. Dalany, Overseer of the Wistera? Roads for the last twenty months and now under the charge of John Ford, Overseer of the Windsor Road, ? Petitioner further states that during the period above mentioned, has conducted himself with steadiness and propriety and also that he never was brought before a magistrate in any charge whatever. Petitioner humbly implores your Excellency will take his case into consideration by permitting him that Indulgence that he may procure for himself a wife and child in honest livelihood and Petitioner will in duty bound to pray.
