William Wigham was listed as 25 years old on arrival in VDL. Place of Birth: Glasgow. Occupation: Sausage maker/labourer. Transported for 'Housebreaking and stealing a waitcoat. William was literate, protestant, 5'1¾" tall, fresh complexion, dark brown hair and whiskers, blue eyes, MB. EK. JB. SB. WW. E.W. cricofox. tree. ?K on right arm, ring on middle finger same hand. Mother: Margaret Brother: James 19/12/1848: TOL 15/10/1850: CP 19/3/1851: Departed Launceston to Melbourne per 'Shamrock'. 1854: Married Ann Flannigan (3/10/1834-12/10/1882) - they had 4 children. 1856: Licensee of the Junction Hotel, Burnt Creek, Dunolly, Victoria. 11/3/1863: William died aged 40 and was buried at Dunolly Cemetery - Ann was buried with him in 1882.
