24/8/1820 Bath Chronicle and Weekly Gazette Somerset, England: SOMERSET ASSIZES Transportation.— Fourteen years: H. Hancock and John Wilcox, sen. for burglary.— Seven years: John Seaman, for theft. Native Place: South Malton, Devonshire. 26/7/1827: Allowed to remain in the District of Sydney - Sydney Bench. From his Ticket of Leave 18/9/1827: John was 5'5¾" tall, dark ruddy complexion, grey and bald hair, grey eyes, Born 1770, nose flat and broad. Was assigned to Mr McPherson. Cannot pinpoint his date of death.
